What’s a landing craft, you ask?

Originally designed for military and commercial use, landing crafts have a flat front, wide open decks, and a drop-down bow door that make them incredibly versatile. For our tours, that means tons of deck space, easy access to the water, and the ability to pull right up to beaches or waterfalls—perfect for pulling crab pots, getting up close to Alaska’s marine life, and immersing yourself in the wilderness.

That wide-open deck isn’t just for sightseeing—it’s ideal for crabbing, too. We’re able to haul a serious load of commercial crab pots, giving you a true hands-on experience with the gear and the catch. Whether you're pulling up pots or snapping photos, there's space for everyone to be part of the action.

We can even pull right up to remote beaches so you can step off and explore, or slide in close to waterfalls—getting you closer than just about any other boat can.

Inside, the heated cabin seats up to 6 guests and includes a private bathroom for your comfort. Outside, wide open decks at the front and back give you plenty of room to move, get involved, and enjoy the views. Whether we’re hauling in the day’s catch or cruising alongside whales, everyone has a front-row seat.
